Once upon a time, there was a little mouse who loved to read and enjoyed making up stories.
And there was a weasel who had his eye (and his sharp teeth) on her.
The entire play is made up of three very short fairy tales/anecdotes, which the mouse
invents to outsmart the hungry weasel. He wants to eat her for breakfast! But don’t worry
– it all ends well. The mouse is well-read and clever, and the weasel… is just hungry.
The witty and smart story Mouse Soup by Arnold Lobel inspired this intimate
one-actor production, featuring set design and puppets by Jakub Šulík,
a talented young graduate from the Department of Scenography at DAMU.
