Kawloon, one grand block of flats. The grandest block of flats in the world which exists no more. Complex infinite dark narrow streets where everyone who does not belong here gets lost. And at the gate of this house, Tuan is standing there all alone, needing to get inside and find his way to a new home.
Kowloon Walled City was not under direct or indirect government control. Originally a defensive fortress, it gradually grew into a single large building covering an area of 0.026 km2 and provided a home to more than 50,000 residents.
The puppet performance tells a story of discovering this labyrinthine place and exploring a new home through projection devices, light, and sound animation.
