A tragicomedy by Jaroslav Rudiš about the moon’s influence on human behaviour. In a garden restaurant, an unusual mixture of people gathers. Aside from two longtime friends, German studies classmates, and rock music lovers, everyone is meeting for the first time. Under the influence of a full moon, they suddenly find themselves able to say things they would usually keep hidden.
What’s bothering the sisters who’ve met for the first time at their father’s funeral? Who is the silent man who arrived by kayak down the Svratka River? Why does a seemingly successful woman cynically amuse herself by chatting with taken men? Just how strong is the nostalgia for the 1990s among those approaching their fifties?
