The dramatization of the successful novel of the same name by author Irena Dousková. The story's heroine, second-grade student Helenka Součková of a nine-year elementary school, leads us through the tragicomic years of Husák's normalization in the early 70s with the inquisitive and naive eyes of an eight-year-old child, as it reflected in the world of both children and adults. Against the backdrop of a school and theater in one "unnamed" district town unfolds a series of comic incidents, embarrassing experiences, minor and major misfortunes, which little Helenka not only experiences but also evaluates and comments on with the immediacy characteristic of her age.
